yesterday i had a very nice time.
even though it was only for a couple of hours, i get to experience another late night dinner with someone.
i even had a nice ride back home.
the cabby driver was so polite and nice.
we talked on the way.
i was a bit paisey because i had spoke in a strange ang moh accent. ok not ang moh but i had this 'ruby pan-ish english accent'
the cabby was 'lah' 'loh' all the way but the content of his speech was friendly and nice.
he suggested i took a reciept so that i can enter a lucky draw and hopefully win a trip to paris!!
there is no way a normal cab driver would do something like that.
he even wish me good luck on my future endeavours while i alight the cab.
and being the nice friendly me, i thanked him for a wonderful conversation along the trip.
and i do not know why, the past few weeks, i had been a courteous freak, thanking the cleaner in the restaurants, thanking the bus driver who waited for me after i ran for the bus, thanking the mc donalds worker who cleared my table, thanking even the cashier who gave me my change back.
and the best thing about being courteous is, u will feel good about it.
so readers, heed my advice and be nice and courteous to anyone whom u meet cos the satisfaction u will get is something that is undescribable!
